Great news! We are starting “Financial Modeller Group” meetings. The idea is to gather modellers’ from the banking industry so that experience can be shared.

NoMagic the provider of data architecture tooling for some of the worlds’ largest banks are hosting the first meeting of the Financial Modelling User Group in London, 29 April 2015.

ModelDR builds on their technology for modelling functionality. The presentation for the first meeting is Model driven solutions to regulation BCSB239

Our CEO Greg Soulsby a practicing data architect in the London finance industry, will explore the critical contribution of data architecture to meeting “BCSB239 Principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting” obligations.

You will learn how to:

– Demonstrate compliance to each of the principles by re-purposing your information architecture

– Meet the obligations more efficiently by leveraging FIBO and semantic technology

– Show your management team how data architecture helps meet BCBS239 using his “BCSB239 Model driven solutions checklist” tool.

Time will be given over to debate at the end of the presentation followed by drinks and networking.

The attendees will be leading data architects from some of the large banking firms. We look forward to welcoming you to what is promising to be a highly topical and informative meeting and an opportunity for informal networking.
